This month marks one year of my business, Change Your Spots Life Coaching.
As I’m sitting on a plane writing this, I realise that it’s a bit like a flight taking off; there’s positioning yourself correctly in a place that suits you; there’s the slow taxi to the runway where final checks can be carried out; then there’s the acceleration, a lot of effort without any visible traction; followed by the climb that can be expensive, burning fuel in the aviation world, & a lot of expenses, but little income, in the business world.
Then there’s no going back!
You’re waiting for that cruising altitude where the business can actually fly - improving efficiency & making some profit.
However, unlike a flight once take-off has happened, as a business owner you can continue to make significant tweaks along the way - little changes in direction - to gain the most reach or to target a certain demographic.
So, a year in, I’m still accelerating but strategically tweaking where I need to & being confident that I’ll soon be cruising.
